Is the lease always greener on the other side?

San Francisco Attorney Rick Mallory is an expert on commercial leases. Bill Groth is Senior Vice President of BCCI Construction Company. In a two-part luncheon program, Mallory and Groth will review the background of the green building movement, the definition of green building and green building lease, and the drafting and negotiation of language addressing the fundamental green building lease issues. Topics include the inconsistent incentives for landlords and tenants on operating expenses, the allocation of carbon credits and tax credits and the responsibility for capital costs for the retrofitting of buildings.

Trade Fair

Preceding and following the program, Friends of IREM will conduct their annual Trade Fair in which they discuss their products and services in a one-on-one setting. Several drawings will be conducted, including one for a $100 gift certificate.
